Sixty hours of bench handwork,
Sixty hours of bench handwork,
cut for a lifetime.
Every Montgomery suit begins with an individual paper pattern drafted strictly by hand. Hand-padded floating horsehair canvas, hand-sewn Milanese lapel buttonholes, and British milled woolens.
THE SAVILE ROW CADENCE
The Three Fittings Journey
STAGE 01
The 32-Point Draft
Our Head Cutter assesses posture, shoulder slope, and natural gait, drafting an individual brown paper pattern unique to your anatomy.
STAGE 02
The Skeleton Baste
The raw cloth is loosely hand-stitched with white basting thread onto natural horsehair canvas. Adjusted on your physique before final cutting.
STAGE 03
The Forward Hand Finish
Over 60 hours of bench handwork later, sleeves are pitched, horn buttons hand-attached, and final lapel roll perfected for lifetime delivery.
